With the excitement of getting married and thinking about the future, the demands of planning a wedding are often too much for many brides to handle alone. In order to alleviate some of their stress, some brides hire professional bridal consultants to bring order to the chaos of planning a wedding.

Job Description:

In order to have a successful career as a bridal consultant, an individual must learn to be a “jack of all trades.” Bridal consultants assist busy brides in making decisions regarding flower arrangements, music selections, catering and locations. On the actual wedding day, a bridal consultant will help oversee the ceremony and ensure that everything is on schedule.

Bridal consultants have the option to work for a larger wedding planning company or to start their own business. Many self-employed bridal consultants begin working part-time and work their way up to full-time.
